Nuclear Rush
Prepare for the ultimate muddy obstacle course race at Nuclear Rush. Choose your challenge on our 6k or 12k courses; there’s over 40 obstacles on our 6k course and over 70 obstacles on the 12k course, including our famous Deathslide and para-plunge zip lines. Our exciting courses are designed to test every fitness level, whether you’re a beginner, a seasoned mud racer, an individual, Rookie or family. This event is a must-do race!

The 6 km course takes you through muddy farmland, woodlands and lakes, and is complete with approximately 40+ obstacles to test your determination, agility and adventurous spirit.
Set in the heart of the Secret Nuclear Bunker Estate in Essex, and it’s open to participants aged 13+ (adult accompaniment required for 13 – 15 year olds) and welcomes all fitness levels.
You’ll be chip‑timed and receive a finishers medal, but there’s no penalty for skipping obstacles, meaning that you can enjoy the experience and take your race at your pace.

Taking you deep into muddy farmland, woodland and lakes on the imposing terrain of the Secret Nuclear Bunker Estate in Essex, the 12km races offers over 70 obstacles and a more endurance feel for those ready to push their limits.
With chip‑timing, high‑quality, achievable natural and man‑made obstacles and no penalty system (you can attempt as many or as few obstacles as you like), it’s built for both seasoned racers and adventurous newcomers alike.

How to find us
Nuclear Races is located in Brentwood, Essex just 15 minutes from the A12, M25 and M11.
By Train and taxi, we’re just 15 minutes from Brentwood station (on the mainline from Liverpool St) or 15 minutes from Epping Underground station.
