Brentwood Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2024

We’re proud to be named Best Small/Medium Business and finalists for Best Customer Service at the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce Awards! This recognition celebrates our dedicated team and the vibrant community that makes every Nuclear experience unforgettable.

We’re so proud to share that Nuclear Races Ltd took home the Best Small/Medium Business Award at the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2024! To top it off, we were also named finalists for the Best Customer Service Award. A fantastic recognition of the dedication, care, and passion that our team brings to everything we do.

Winning the Best Small/Medium Business Award means so much to us as a family-run company that started right here in Brentwood. It’s a reflection of the hard work, teamwork, and creativity that drive our events and experiences across Nuclear Races, Nuclear Fit, Nuclear Wild Forest, Nuclear High Ropes, and the Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker. Every year, thousands of people come together to take on our muddy obstacle courses, climb our high ropes, train outdoors, or explore history underground and behind each of those experiences is an incredible team making it happen. From the marshals and crew on race day to the customer service and site teams who keep things running smoothly all year round, this award celebrates them all.

For us, it’s never just been about running events, it’s about creating something meaningful. Whether it’s helping people step outside their comfort zone, supporting local schools, or giving families a reason to get outdoors together, we’re proud to be part of something that brings the Brentwood community closer. Being recognised for both business excellence and customer service reminds us how important that personal touch is. We’ve built strong relationships with our visitors, schools, and local partners. That sense of trust and connection is what makes Nuclear special.

The 2024 awards marked an exciting milestone in our journey. Coming out of a few challenging years for the events industry post covid, this recognition felt like a real testament to our resilience and growth. We’ve continued to evolve, adding new events, investing in our facilities, and expanding the opportunities we offer for people to move, play, and challenge themselves outdoors. It’s been amazing to see our community of runners, families, fitness fans, and schools grow alongside us. Of course, none of this would be possible without our incredible team and loyal supporters. To everyone who’s raced, volunteered, trained, or visited us — thank you. Your energy, enthusiasm, and muddy smiles are what make it all worthwhile.
